In 1969, Jessica McClintock, a widowed mother of a young son, moved to California. There, she discovered a small clothing company called Gunne Sax. With a small investment, she founded what would become the prestigious design house known as Jessica McClintock, Inc. Her romantic sensibilities, passed down from her seamstress grandmother, made her a fashion icon for an entire generation. To enhance her clothing line, Jessica created a fragrance division to craft the perfect scents. Her first signature fragrance, Jessica McClintock Eau de Parfum, was introduced in 1988.
